For the fourth year in a row, and seventh time in eight seasons, the Chicago Bulls qualified for the NBA playoffs ... Chicago led the NBA in wins for the second straight season (50-16), and claimed the top seed in the Eastern Conference for the second consecutive year ... Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 21.8 ppg and 7.9 apg, while Luol Deng posted 15.3 ppg and 6.5 rpg in 39.4 mpg (first in the NBA) ... Chicago finished the season with the best road record in the NBA (24-9, .727) ... Chicago was the only undefeated team in the NBA (21-0) when it scored 100 or more points in a game ... at 8-5, the Bulls were one of two teams in the NBA (along with San Antonio: 17-10) that owned a winning record when its opponent scored 100 or more points in a contest ... on the year, the Bulls set a franchise record for opponent scoring in a single season (88.2 ppg) ... on March 19 at Orlando, Chicago held the Magic to an opponent franchise record-low 59 points.

Head Coach Tom Thibodeau and his staff coached the Eastern Conference All-Stars, while Assistant Coach Ron Adams coached the TEAM SHAQ squad in the Rising Stars Challenge ... with Chicago’s win at Orlando on March 19, Tom Thibodeau reached the 100-win plateau in his 130th career game as a head coach (the fastest to do so in NBA history) ...
